Floodgate is replaceable as long as you have all the good and serviceable stall traps, and the game already gives you plenty of those, plus it's just to reliably deal with snipe hunter. Duke will tribute summon his monsters anyway, so the more important thing is quantity over quality for your stall traps.
Deck worked for me! Sad it's not really accessible for newbies since there's no chance they'll buy older boxes in favor of latest meta... even the ladybugs can be troublesome to pull hhaha
