Been having so much trouble fighting this deck. Can someone please explain this interaction, I attacked with DM using Head Rush choosing Earth. He used the subterror ability to switch out into the monster with 2700 def face down. I still chose to attack it cuz it is an Earth monster, but when I did it was not destroyed. Wtf happened?
SRH's effect is applied at the start of the Damage Step, but monsters are not flipped face-up yet until a window called "before damage calculation", which is after the start of Damage Step.
As a result, SRH's effect essentially misses the timing.
