I wonder if Alexis, Aster from GX, Jack, Crow from 5D's, and Kite from ZEXAL get summon animations of the ace monsters from their Arc V counterparts ( if Arc V is released)
That'd be a fine compromise since I doubt we'll be getting the Arc-V versions of those characters, especially as the original versions already have voice lines for their Arc-V counterpart cards.
I'll honestly be surprised if we don't get Arc-V versions of at least Jack and Aster. We have multiple versions of several characters already, it's easier for them to produce them (since they can re-use a decent amount of voice lines), and lets them release more characters in a shorter period as a result. Also lets them re-release event cards permanently, which is a bonus.
They're so far behind on unique characters that it's a waste of time to release more alternate versions of the same characters. We especially don't need that sad excuse of an Aster from Arc-V. He is a disgrace and a joke to the original GX Aster with being nothing like him. They can just give us the rest of the dheroes and that's it.
At the very least, Konami could release alternate skins...then again, DSOD versions of certain DM characters exists already, so the legacy characters aren't out of the question.
The writers of Arc V hated GX according to TV Tropes, which would explain why Legacy characters there got shafted hard and why the Duel Academy army is portrayed as evil.
