Too bad there's no middle ground between Slash and other Red-eyes fusion, the burn is too busted for a 4k LP match not to mention how easy it will be to summon with RE fusion

Meteor Black Dragon's about as "broken" as a card like Shining Flare Wingman or Super Conductor Tyranno. Being a high-ATK monster with a burn effect doesn't instantly make something broken. It's only 1200 burn. The fact it Summons a Red-Eyes when it's sent to the Graveyard is more useful than the burn is.
Each Yugioh show has several common points yet still enough to have their own identity. Zexal is the only one so far I'll say ended better than it began, and Arc-V is the polar opposite of that. VRAINS has been cool so far.
Speak for yourself. As a Red-Eyes player I'm sick of seeing Blue-Eyes getting its @$$ kissed in every box while Red-Eyes has just one decent card to play. I'd love Meteor Black Comet Dragon or Archfiend Black Skull Dragon. It would give Red-Eyes players a reason to play their favorite archetype.
...Blue-Eyes is also still missing a ton of stuff.
If your argument was for Black Stone of Legend, I could agree with you. It's a pretty tame card, comparable to White Stone of Ancients. (It's got an arguably better effect, but Summons worse monsters.) But Archfiend Black Skull is more on the level of a card like Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, which we DON'T have.
