As far as im aware they seem to be the decendants of the mist valley guys i think, after trishula destroyed the world and only the ones in the valley survived
Also gishki wanted prime materials for their rituals and the gusto tribe is in a forest so they attack and 🔥 most of them(they wanted to attack the laval first though but they didnt have enough food or something)so the gem knights protect the remaining gusto
Also the gishki revived the steelswarms or something this leads to the vylons comming from heaven to help and they give powers to each tribe, also after some long events everyone but winda 🔥ing dies and she goes to the temple to call on sophia the godess of rebirth but winda gets killed by her
During the third era or whatever you call it winda gets revived as a shaddoll and destroys the tree of life tjough after tierra dies she gets purified into spiritual beast tamer winda
I didn't like the part in which Vylons turned their back on humanity and wanted to eradicate them. I mean... even the gods from heaven are emotionally unstable or what? some day they decide they need to 🔥 everyone and they do it. They were supposed to be bring order, not chaos.
I guess that's why Horakhty is the only one I trust. Everyone else = Emotionally unstable / become murderers easily.
Actually the lore is that they wanted a peaceful world, but the 4 tribes still fight with each other even after the end of the war against Verz, so their solution was to simply erase all the tribes.
You can't have fights if no one exist to do the fight.
They do get corrupted by Verz, though.
Their wish to simply erase all the tribes came from that.
It was not mentioned in Master Guide 3, but in Duel Terminal Master Guide, it is mentioned that Verz did corrupt them from inside through Gishki Noellia, who was corrupted when she tried to summon help, but failed, and instead gets infected by Verz.
Constellars made Vylons able to resist corruption from outside.....but they never thought that the corruption can also happen from the inside, as a result of Vylons merging with non-Vylons.
Glad to see someone else being interested in Yugioh lore.
Seriously, Konami could have gotten a ton more money if they actually makes use of the fact that they've created lots of lores ranging from just interesting to downright amazing.
