Stardust acceleration can be purchased with gems, so, not really a problem... the only pack let's say "expensive" is this one. (If you think 8-12$ is expensive).
what's even more interesting, it's the fact they are releasing these packs each 6 months... that's a lot of time. And meanwhile, the meta was full of F2p-budget decks.
$8-12 is expensive when these cards IRL are cheaper. Sure you can't play 20 card Yu-Gi-Oh IRL but like, as a f2p player who pkays the game for PVE and building fun decks based on my years of Yu-Gi-Oh, paid for only cards are pretty 🔥 imo. Yes it's cheap, but there's better things I could be spending my money on. I believe this is Konami placing good fan favorite cards for a quick cash grab.
I'm not really sure about the prices, but if it's just 3$ per pack, THEN IT'S ACTUALLY BEYOND AFFORDABLE! lol, I mean... with just 3-8$ you become the most elitist among elitist players in Duel Links !
...You might want to check your facts before claiming the cards are cheaper IRL than here. In English, Bingo Machine's a $50 card IRL right now. (Even Solid Dragon's like $6-7.)
Well, let me tell you this deck is a commodity, dude. Which means you don't actually need it to win or to compete in the meta, you could just grab any other f2p deck and keep rolling, that's my point. 3-9$ for a beautiful meme deck, that might turn you into the most elitist player around (lol) is not a high price if you ask me.
3$ is what cost you to look like a rich kid here, not bad if you ask me. I've seen some other games with very ABUSIVE prices, but definitely duel links is not one of them :)
