Why is this deck considered strong? It has bad matchups against Thunder dragons, Lunalights, Gaia, Onomats, Blue eyes. Ultimate Providence, Forbidden chalice, Floodgate..
Because 91℅ of Harpie deck lists on Duel links meta and here include the Book of moon and Treacherous trap hole. Budget version is not that good, although it is possible to climb in the last days of the season
(1) i’ve been playing as a Harpie main for about 4 seasons now, all of which i’ve reached KoG and NOT at the end of the season like this other nub said. BoM isn’t a necessity for harpie to hit kog. as a matter of fact, you need no staples to hit kog. you could run x3 hysteric party and 3x Three of a Kind, using whatever for the remaining spells/traps and still hit kog.
Only morons can talk about skill in a CARD game. Your entire skill ends in the deck builder. If your opponent went first and set some trap, Ultimate providence for example, your game is over. You go first but don't draw anything to protect your boss harpie, your game is over. Now remember that you need to win five times in a row to climb and must have perfect luck
It is actually nut job skill. Just like rolling a slot machine. In Legend just put them an unknown deck that they cannot have an XYZ counter and you win.
Dekayed is popular for putting decks in his paywall that actually trips his netdecker opponents.
