I think this deck works better without Shadow of the Six Samurai - Shien. Gaining counters for your spells isn't much of a problem and its effect is very underwhelming.

The deck is better now because when you dont make shi en turn 1, you make shadow of the six and have a live bounce 2, which is actually very good. So you have more playable hands.
Then of course the powercreep of the game is gone beyond the deck, specifically the deck cannot negate monster effects that are very used today
Then why not just summon one of your level 4s in ATK position, set Dual Wield and end your turn? There is no additional benefit to use the Xyz monster. You just waste your resources AND your extra deck slot for a 2.5k beater that has basically no effect at all.
First of all you play 2 reborn (the spell and the trap). Then if you want proof of your noub level of play, just watch emma valentine youtube video of last week, she will show you all the cases where this xyz is better than a simple samurai in atk position.
