If inread all this, if i take a view over the duel links division, i must say, konami 🔥ed up the real game. There is a ban list of cards (for certain reason), whick are banned for being overpowered in combination with other cards, exactly to avoid 🔥 like 3SD etc.. but, now in fact, short before WCS start, those 🔥s bring paradox brothers with 3SD skill out, which is making ppl, who don't have 3dm, 3cv and other cards simply useless and hopeless formtze finals. Also ppl are using cheats and abusing bugs during the qualification.. i mean, this Championship isn't serious as it should be, it looks more like a random party for the nolifer community. In common are same 3 decks: 3SD, HHG and insect burn/GK.. now let us count, how many other heroes are there and how many other cards are available, but useless because of those 3 immortal combo-decks. As example, lets take Bakura.. Bakura is the perfect heroe based on perfect tactictical gameplay and strategie, but is useless against every of them i'v called above. I tryed hard to get up to KOG by using any other deck, beside 3sd, hhg or burn/gk deck, but it is impossible. Up to kog i got as HHG and kept plying as hhg or 3sd and i must say, after 4 days of playing like this, i got bored of it and i am going to leave this "wannabe"-yugioh game, since the mobile version is just a japan joke.

Yeah, if there is anything to complain about, it is how much influence the skills have on the meta. Limits creativity.

the 3 deck types are OP i know but im not a meta guy and made KoG with a Kangaroo/ Oz deck without spending a dime. It was hard but in the end im happy to say i dint reach with the real meta 🔥 + i have a decend 55% winrate in KoG.

I think skills make the game better personally but I also think a couple skills should have been nerfed that weren't. Namely hhg. Maybe make it 🔥 face up spells and traps only.

For the record, Dark Magician decks reached King of Games long before 3-Star Demotion came out.

The only thing 3-Star Demotion did was save hand resources.

Players were able to consistently bring out Dark Magician in 1 turn.

The draw back was it simply required them to use up at least 3 cards.

The addition of 3-Star Demotion reduced this card amount to 2 cards.

They get to save 1 card!

Yeah we understand. The most interesting deck is usually not the most powerful deck.

The most powerful deck is those that maximize advantage such as 3 x enemy controller or 3 x mirror wall or 3 x kuriboh.

These decks are plain dumb. I give it a grade B. Interesting decks with sparing use of cards yet effective is grade A.

Would you say econ is the number 1 best card in the game pound for pound. I think so unless they add a card that lets you flip back and continue attacking.

Enemy control is a very good card.

However, It doesn't mean a person would blindly add 3x of them into there deck.

All cards can be countered.

Adding 3x of a single card in your deck makes your deck vulnerable in many cases.

It is best to have variety in your deck.

The original poster talked about "Bakura".
Lets say you are facing a Bakura deck.
You are using 3x Enemy control.

Your Bakura opponent than summons Invader of Darkness!

Invader effects prevents any quick-play spells from activating.

What are you going to do in that match up with 3x E.con?

You will have nothing more than 3 dead cards in your deck at that point.

This is an example as to why good players don't like depending on a single card.

It leaves you vulnerable against certain match ups.

It is best to have variety.

People show there decks to be displayed in the KOG forum section.

If you take the moment to look at them, You would see that the majority of decks on there have variety.

Look for a 3x Mirror Wall deck displayed on King of Games!

I have looked at a lot of KOG decks.
I have even reached KOG with my own decks.

I still haven't found that 3x Mirror Wall deck which people keep talking about.

It is funny because I have heard dozens of people say the exact same thing.

They talk about the Legendary 3x Mirror Wall Deck which run:

3 x Mirror Wall
3 x Enemy Controller
3 x Kuriboh

Please tell me! Where is this illusive deck at?
Where can I find it!

I wish to duel against it.
It is so legendary.

I have 3 mirror wall and I'll tell u it's useable up to mid gold then after that people won't attack in a situation where they will leave their field open after mirror wall. It's a great card against crap players. But it's not that great against good players. Econ and kuriboh are far better defense cards.

Kuriboh is a great hand trap.
Kuriboh is a great Ritual material.

The only people who can justify using 3x Kuribohs are people who make use of both effects.

I.E Relinquish decks.

All other decks don't use Kuriboh for his second effect.
They use him for his hand trap effect only.

I feel sorry for those people who run 3x Kuriboh's in random decks.

The thing that makes kuriboh a beast is that you never know if the guy has him or not and that he can't really be destroyed by meta methods like storm and hhg.

Yeah.. I made a TSD Dark Magician deck. I couldnt get KoD. I've spend the whole weekend going from platinum 2 and 3...
Most of the time I faced those 3 kinds of deck (plus clown control), and I must say that in the end its just counting on luck, not skill. Before the fight starts you can never garantee if you're going to win on lose, it's all luck. I'm probably quitting too
