My personal opinion is that this box is going to be 80% trash and just filled with cards nobody needs. Witch‘s are going to be abused by Invoked engine and Spellbooks are trying to slow down the OTK game but due to big brain non targeting destruction from Cydras or 9000 IQ DM Circle Rod Navigation banish wombo combo my guess is that this box will not compete with the actual meta
Yes, Verre is a hell of a boss monster that can be summoned by 6 cards: Molehu? No, Aleister? No, Squire? No, Crystron? No.
At least she has to discard cards so I can deplete her resources? Well yes but actually not, the spells return to the hand by themselves.
Aleister makes the deck slower, you want to use your normal summons for the other witchcraft monsters.
I don’t think that a beefy 2800 def monster will be enough to disrupt EVERY play from the opponent. I mean how much spells do you want to have in your goddamn hand and she just can disrupt monster effects if I got it right. You know that there are ballista squads, treach, floodgates, econ takes and a lot of other stuff to destroy or interrupt your plays AND her quickeffects are just ONCE PER TURN
Every meta deck now needs to start with an effect of their normal summon that you can just negate right away, as well as there's is ballista, floodgate we also have cosmic/galaxy cyclone, forbidden lance, the sky striker spell, double cyclone etc. and they are all spells perfect for Verres effect.
Also the witch spells return to the hand at the end phase for free.
