Why Blackwing was mentioned as another interesting option in this "New Player Guide"?
Blackwing require us to go through Main Box six times! 3 times in Aerial Assault. 3 times in Blackstorm Rising.
Blackwings are pretty expensive, but honestly it's better for a new player to aim for a good meta deck, than put together non competitive cheaper decks.
If a new F2P player aims from the beggining for a blackwing deck he will propably remain in low ranks forever. Such a premium deck will need a lot farming (3 main boxes-2 times at least each). IMO, new players need a good, cheap and reliable deck to start the game. Then they can go for a tier deck that can be completed by buying just 1 box (like lunalights, ritual beasts, shiranui).

you do know there are many BETTER competitive decks for new player right?
6 boxes just for one deck need bleeding time investment. OTOH, new player get get into PVP ladder faster with LunaLight, SuperHeavySam or even Shiranui in less than a month without spending cash. unless your comment is specifically aimed for NEW WHALE.
as a Fp I started with blackwings, got 2 kog then I switched to CyberD 1 kog,top 5000, and after 1 kog with DM, and back to blackwings with Pixie, fairy and Necrovalley 1 kog and top 5000.
