People definitely overreact to this card. It's a strong card, but it's not like it's unbeatable.
It will only wreck you if you put everything you've got into a single summon and you cant negate it.
Which is good in my opinion. It breaks the Meta of someone summoning a single OP card, with no back row or any form of defense and expecting to win the game.
Some people overreact to everything. It's true that this card has quite the useful effect, but as long as you're careful you should be fine. It not as if this card is as powerful as, for instance, "Hey, Trunade!" when it came out. This card can catch you by surprise if you're not careful, but we're kind of past the point of "summon big dude, pass" being as good as when the app first came out.
