This game is accelerating too fast into p2w. I'm a veteran player, recently got 365 days, but I can't keep up with all the box releases and their increasing power creep. Aliens were a good deck from the last box but they're already powercrept out by sylvans (Aids) and Anki and now the big p2w CA and Archfiends can run riot yet again. it's getting to the point where it's just not fun anymore and you have to throw way too much money at the game on too regular a basis to keep up.

same i'm a veteran too and i can't keep up with these boxes. Right now i was trying to make a whale/archfiend deck but then the 🔥 sylvans dropped and powercrept(they are aids) and now that mask change. rip

The meta changes every time a new box is released. It comes to the point I have to think if I should continue with this game. PVP is just a luck-based game that can tilt you in the worst way possible. To be honest, this is the most stressful game I have ever played.

I know you feel cz I'm veteran too and I think you take it too serious as casual player, I mean if you really competitive player you will spend some buck too keep up with the meta. I mean like if you play ocg/tcg the only way you got deck is buying irl and duel link is based on that

Stop complaining just enjoy collecting the card and game

It's impossible to keep up as f2p for sure however if no one paid we wouldn't have a game so can't complain too much if people want to pay. That said it would be nice if they staggered new boxes more to give us a chance, they're definitely coming too fast lately.

this "fake" cyka isnt complaining about p2w players because ofc money is needed to keep the game alive but rather complains about fast boxes drop i almost have 400 days in the game as f2p i didnt open quite a few boxes like abyss the glads one and the last one etc i always wait bout a week to see how it affects the game than decide for ex i made a sylvan deck to reach kog (in 30 wins)

Cyka name notwithstanding, the other problem is the amount of p2w. Opening a box quickly costs a helluva lot. Where is the incentive to keep spending if 100/200 dollars doesn't go the distance for more than a month or two at best? Other cyka is right about spending intelligently but the powercreep is blatant whale farming (guess the Japanese are good at that lol).

other cyka here . okay so grab kog and gtfo aint gonna work i mean i love yu gi oh since i was 6 15 years ago so i still enjoy other aspects of the game even the pve events so yeah spend gems wisely andd things should go smoothly for a f2p ofc , and cyka my bro the 100/200 dollars are sometimes are not enough but it's youtubers/streamers who hunt for new boxes for new content and stuff

sorry for the double post again i talk too much ... so what i was saying enters in the strategie of waiting 1 week b4 investing since the youtubers/streamers will do the "job" of trying the box potentials and stuff . ( being f2p also means more time investing in game to get the event gemmies )

If you're F2P dont buy all boxes and expect to get the cards you wanted in early pack, BÎTCH. The amount of gems they gave us is fair and this game doesnt use advertisement so they need to earm money by selling packs with money. Im also F2P and still i can keep up with the meta... You just have to use your gems wisely and ONLY aim for cards you needed, NOT WHAT YOU WANT!!!

i have no problem keeping up, i'm mostly f2p, here and then i buy the 3packs+1sr/ur deals but that's it. of course i cant empty out every box day1 but i could care less
