Duel links costs more money than the tcg if you think about it. Say you're missing a specific card from a pack: In Duel Links, you would have to grind through a whole box to get that card. If you're unlucky you may have to open a whole box to get it. In the tcg, you could just simply buy that card from a card store. Yes it may cost more but hey, at least I don't have to deal with that bull$hit rng.

This could be an option for Duel Links imo. Give the players the option to buy cards of their choice in older packs (eg: must be released at least 6 months ago) but it costs a lot more.
So like 50gems for a single floodgate traphole.

This is actually not a bad idea

50 gems are too few for a playable UR. They could make them 200gems each and it would be still good.

200 gems each UR vs. 200*50
You could buy out all URs from a box without going through all. I don't think that would be good.

Yeah. 1000 gems for UR and ~500 for SR sounds more reasonable. And would still be ok.

Xenon
That would make more sense.

Bump this thread up, this is actually something worth talking

Would you rather:

Pay less but rigged by the rng?
Pay more but garanteed specific cards?

you can still play without spending a single dollar, just that i agree with op's idea that u can get UR cards with more gems.
