For the well balance and versatility of the game, I believe Konami will semi of even limit “Rose Lover” to 1 just like they did with all the accessible cards or easily obtainable cards (Machine angel ritual, Dakini, Red eyes spirit, champion vigilance, golden bamboo sword etc..)
Tell that to veteran OCG/TCG players and they'll just laugh hard at you.
There have been numerous examples of Konami hitting Secret Rare cards in OCG/TCG with the banlist.
It doesn't matter if a powerful card is of the highest rarity in a box, if they feel it might negatively affect the sales of their newest box, they WILL do something about it.
oups haha, true story, SSA only works when umi is on the field...
but real talk each box is power creeping the other, so SSA is not even tier 1 anymore
U see this game is constantly evolving and will keep on showcasing cards or decks that disbalance the meta and people will cry in future about some other deck if not sylvans. What i am suggesting is we learn to mold ourselves as per the meta and enjoy it to learn something new everyday. Like this sylvan age has compelled us to care more for monster effects rather than stats!
Not just that, limiting Rose Lover won't even come close to nerfing Sylvan.
Sylvan's real power is in their Komushroomo and Marshalleaf getting milled, so that they can nuke your board. Being able to SS a big beater is just a bonus, as once your board is nuked, even a low level beater works. Even Rose Lover's anti trap protection is actually irrelevant, as all your traps would be nuked already.
The only thing that will happen with limiting Rose Lover, is killing all the other Plant decks while letting Sylvan remains alive and well, the exact opposite of what everyone wanted to see.
Lol, they are talking about marshleaf when they are excavated from the deck. I don't think anybody will worried about marshleaf when it is on the field. It only excavate 2 cards. You don't need SSA/Divine Wrath/SSA to murder him. Just attack him with (UR) Axe Raider and he is dead.
