Duel Links World Championship [2017]

Luck was not on Dkayed's side. I really hope he doesn't become a whale now although we did see the power of credit card throughout the tournament. However budget if not entirely free to play, fiends, toons and weevil burn(which I hate) are pretty good. This game is not F2P for championships except KC cup..
Someone in somewhere
But silentofd is F2P player and he can still win 4 match straight

most of the decks they used are f2p lol, you just might have to make some cuts. main exception is red eyes zombies. also sorry to break it to you but relinq dominated kc cup, which is one of, if not the most expensive deck in this game so far
Anoymous
Someone always blame the luck when they loose. If it depends on luck no one will win 4 match straight.

i mean the game is very luck based and idk how you can try to argue it. your logic doesnt make any sense either. it's like trying to say flipping a coin and having it land on heads 4 times in a row is impossible lol

With balance and restart skill, the game isnt about luck. It's about consistency

Whose logic doesnt make any sense. As another anon says those still decrease luck based significantly. It's you who choose skill yourself. And most of the game out there have random a bit here and there. If you need no luck base game: Chess or Checkers

In competition, variables like opening draws and potential matchup IMO are a question of consistency not luck. The difference to me is having the opportunity to prepare for "bad luck".

so you are telling me this game is skill based and not based on luck
Anoymous
well yeah dipshit, first of all, not every player has the same amount of card pool. for example a person without red eyes insight will have to find a way to win a guy that has that card which many do, but then there's some people who got their hands on most of the cards and still suck (some youtuber not mentioning his name), so yeah dumbass, luck does plays a role but skill is more important

Leave poor VahnMax Alone! Its not his fault that he sucks

so you're saying that most of the time when you lose it's because you misplayed in some form, and not because they got lucky or you got unlucky? obviously there is skill involved but the game is like 90% luck
Anoymous
skill also translate to knowledge of the game, some ppl like to be protective and put a lot of spells or traps and few monsters thus leading him to brick a lot, so of course he will get a bad hand at the start, don't always blame a bad starting hand on luck, some ppl activate cards on the wrong phase, that does not mean misplay, they literally do not know the difference

the thing is that the difference in skill between the winner of worlds tournament, timmy, and some guy sitting in legend is minimal. most matches just come down to luck and i honestly dont see how that can be argued
