The thing about Dracossack is that it was never actually used in a pure MPB build in the meta that it first came out in. It saw a lot of use in decks that could easily get out generic Rank 7s on board easily, and since it’s Xyz Material effect creates the resources to use its destruction and protection effect, you didn’t have to use main deck MPB cards to make it useful.
It is mostly a stretch, but maybe a Red-Eyes deck could get some mileage out of Dracossack. If you have two Red-Eyes Black Dragon in the grave with Return of the Red-Eyes, you can churn out Dracossack. It’s slow but it’s possible.
