When you use a deck that people rarely see in PvP you kinda have an edge on them and your deck has powerful spell and traps so no wonder you've reach dlv max
I have the exact same deck as his, but havent been trying in ranked duel for quite some time (4 months in bronze Lol). some players had only a little time and bad rewards.
I love it when I see unique decks like this in the meta. Its not "new" but its unexpected when literally most opponents are Six Sams. To be honest, this climb has been more interesting than my past KC cups, due to variety like this.
