I think the destiny heroes in Duel Links’ current library have better options than the elemental heroes at the very least (and that’s just freaking sad).

Also, Plasma is bad because it takes too much to summon. Using Mask Change and Anki is usually the way to go. If you can figure out a consistent deck with cards like Cosmic Compass and Stray Lambs, I guess Plasma can be good with that deck.
It is recommended to clear the field before summining plasma. "Lockdown" methods isnt that effective unless you had other supporting card. In hero deck, masked hero blast might became a good addition in case you already summon plasma. The problem always lies in backrow, believe me.
