Duel Links World Championship [2017]

I guess DKayed creativity stopped at the qualifiers. Using toon decks and a mill deck and looking unimpressive

toons need kingdom early or they lose lol. toon world is bad.

I played Toon's before Toon Kingdom ever became a Pegasus Reward for Duel Links!

You seem to believe Toons are some weak fragile deck with out Toon Kingdom.

The problem is your belief is wrong!

Toon's were able to OTK before Toon Kingdom!

Not having Toon Kingdom forced Toon players to use more protection cards.

Toon Kingdom allowed us to free up our deck space.

Toon Kingdom gives Toon monsters more protection!

It allows Toon deck builders to take out protection cards & change them to more aggressive offensive cards.

It frees up what we can do with the deck!

However, It doesn't mean we are forced to completely rely on Toon Kingdom.

We are "used" to playing with out Toon Kingdom.
Toon Kingdom is merely an extra perk in our favor.

toons arent good with toon kingdom and before it was in the game they were complete garbo lol

The problem with you is you have never played against a Toon deck which doesn't revolve around Toon Kingdom!

You are so used to seeing Toon Kingdom decks which are so narrowly focused.

It is starting to effect your judgement on how all the Toon decks function.

However, they can function differently!

if youre so convinced that toons are the best deck in the game without a doubt and will never lose a game, and that ive been seeing the wrong decks the whole time, why dont you show me an example of one of your unbeatable toon decks?

I am a character deck builder!

I have a Toon deck which has Relinquish in it.

The deck I have is the Pegasus Character deck which was used against Yami Yugi in the Anime!

My deck doesn't need to rely on Toon Kingdom to bring out a heavy hitting monster!

I can bring out Relinquish.
Than suck up the opponents monster to 🔥 them.
It is still a Toon deck!
It is merely a different play style.

I have beat a lot of meta decks with my Toon Relinquish deck.

I have used it in the past to help me grind to KOG.

However, I have my Pegasus level 40 now so I don't like using him in Rank duels any more.

I don't get any more experience from duels with him because he is maxed.

I use other decks etc.

that sounds inconsistent

Well let me ask you this question!

How many people have you faced using a Toon Relinquish deck?

People never expect it coming!

They summon huge monsters with out a care because they think I am only using Toon's.

However, I am not only using Toon's!

Have you considered the surprise value?

I have an alternate Win Condition in my deck!

I don't need to attack directly with a Toon.

I can bring out a Relinquish.
I steal your monster and attack with it!

I have had people call my decks very strange!
They didn't expect them!
They didn't understand them!

surprise value doesnt mean anything

Surprise Value means everything!

It is hard for you to counter what I am doing if you don't even know what I am doing to begin with!

Lets say I am playing a deck which I am familiar with.

Lets say You are playing a deck which I have some knowledge in.

Now on the flip side!

You are playing a deck which you are familiar with.

However, you don't know anything about my deck.
It has surprise value!
You don't know everything about the deck because you haven't faced it before!

Who has the advantage in that situation?

using a random relinquished doesnt do anything though. if you lose to it its either because your deck cant handle relinquished well to begin with or you didnt draw the cards necessary to beat it. just randomly slapping it on the board isnt gonna make you win because of surprise lol

Lets take a look at Dgzo Deck 3: Hammer Shark. Skill: Mythic Depths

Dgzo has 2 Heavy Knight of the Flame in a Hammer Shark deck!

Heavy Knight of the Flames is a fire monster!

The field spell reduces its attack by 200!

How many people do you know run Heavy knight of the Flame knowing full & well that their own monster will decrease in attack value by field spell?

Anoymous
I bet dkayed let that trash win because he wasnt trying. The jap still loss to us in the past so letting him win one game that no one gives af about hahaha

What a brilliant idea by Dgzo!

Heavy Knight of the Flame in a Mako deck!
The Surprise Value!

The interrelationships the card has in its ability to out other decks.

Are you going to tell me one of the Finalist that Heavy Knight of the Flame lacks consistency in a Hammer Shark deck?
<< Anonymous(Player J)

heavy knight doesnt get reduced by umi, it only gets reduced by starboy. either way, it was used to have a better matchup vs the best deck in the game, red eyes. helpful in most matchups these days as well.

dkayed lost because he decided to use inconsistent decks in a tournament lol

Did the game post Dkay's Toon deck?

I don't see his Toon deck posted any where!
