Lol. It’s hilarious how people didn’t see the potential of this. Psi-reflector = 1 card generic Synchro from level 6-9.
You only need 3 Psi-reflector, 1 Assault Beast, 1 Assault Mode Activate. I assure you RDA/AM won’t be played because it’s a brick.
Summon Psi-reflector > search Assault Beast > discard Assault Beast > search Assault Mode Activate. Activate Psi-reflector, reveal Assault Mode Activate, SS Assault Beast, increase level from 1 up to 4. Synchro summon. Assault Mode Activate will be useless, it’s only there for Psi-reflector’s effect.
So prepare for 1 card Brionac, BRD, Vermillion.
Is this better than Neos Fusion? I don’t think so. But people who think this is trash is lol.
The one card generic synchro is a good point probably the only silver lining here because look at all that u have to play to get psi reflector to be worth it. Keeper was/is a lot more versatile. This card has to go with assault beast and synchro is very easy to disrupt in current meta
The only problem with that loop is if you open with Assault Mode Activate. If you can't discard Assault Beast because activate is in hand, Psi-reflector is dead.
This is what I'm afraid of. That they are going to keep making all the sructure decks now like the last one where the deck isn't good by itself and only for a card or two used in another deck or you have to have a lot more to make it good. That they don't want people cruising with just deck and old staples anymore and want you to buy the new boxes all the time now.
If you have Assault Mode Activate in starting hand, Assault Beast cannot discard itself. But Neos Fusion can easily fix the problem, so I wouldn't be surprised if this deck being played using Neos engine.
Assault Sentinel is the best searcher for Psy-Reflector, but it seems Konami won't release it. Other alternatives are Sangan, Serene Psychic Witch, Doctor Cranium. But your opponent may punish you if you run slow searcher like them
