What biased source was that from? o.o Personally, I think Turbo Duels add to the series, not detract from it. Prior to that, duels had to be static. Turbo Duels introduced movement. Admittedly, Zexal and especially Arc-V handled non-static duels much, much better, but still, it was a step in the right direction.
Note this is also coming from someone who dislikes 5D's.
so you are saying you like card games on motorbikes????? Just Imagine Someone IRL doing that, not playing card games cause we've all seen that, there have been card game tournaments held around the world, imagine having a tournament whith people dueling each other on motorbikes, like that???
If we had auto-pilots as advanced as they do in the anime universe, that'd be entirely plausible.
Keep in mind the actual, organized tournament Turbo Duels in 5D's happen on pre-set tracks with the auto-pilot engaged.
But the option to drive them manually when something major happens added a lot to the series. Having to dodge debris or escape people while dueling didn't happen previously.
