Maybe different cards are needed? For me, 30 is the easiest to beat w/ turn 10, followed by 10, then 20. So maybe you just need a wider selection of cards to work around.
I did with aromage use 3 bergamot for piercing, 3 gardening, 2/3 dna transplant for attribute bonus, 3 jasmine for drawing and other aromage cards for support is my deck for below 10 turn.
