Why is there such an obsession with the meta counter decks now when the meta is less dangerous? I'm surprised that I didn't see more of it back when fur hire, amazoness, and hero were stronger. After the last ban everyone acted all happy and said everything was balanced, we can resurrect our old decks and blah, blah, blah. Yet all I see is just a bunch of wind-up, d.d assailant, snowman, lava golems, wildheart... This game isn't fun anymore even with winning.
The current Anti-meta decks work the best against the current meta.
Furhire/Amazoness meta was countered by cosmic cyclones, wild heart and cypher soldier.
This (DD Assailant/ breaker) anti meta deck works well against the current meta but however this deck is also good against everything else unlike previous Anti-meta decks, that's why everyone is using it.
I get what you are saying mostly. But what I'm really asking is why did so many people act like everything was so much easier after the last list and then turn around to make about 50% more of these kinds of decks? It was all like "Oh thank you so much Konami! You did the right thing! Everything will be so much better now!" If they believe that, then why do they need all of this counter crap now?
Look here's a thing, You see in duel links there are 2 kinds of players, no fun allowed winning is everything players and playing for fun players and thanks to YouTube, Reddit and other duelinks community site new players are now aware of meta Decks, Anti-meta, what's 🔥 and how to win easily using the strongest cards available, even some play to have fun players became meta users.
Back on the days unga bunga and creativity decks stood a chance against meta decks but thanks to Konami power creeping old meta decks and adding powerful backrow cards those kind of decks can hardly win against the current meta or anti meta decks
Yeah this Anti-meta deck may prove to be a good meta deck soon but it lacks character(no specific archetype) that's why it's not counted as a meta deck, it's just a deck with answers to everything.

Vamps needs to get a hit by ban list it's dominating the meta and trick up the sleeve should be nerfed to a normal spellcaster and the only change is needed not allowing players to fill 10 backrow with all ur box traps like widespread drowning Canadia floodgates limit that so people can only play few of those deck with 3x Canadia floodgates drowning will automatically win against a cheap deck
Since they limited trunade and no rose lover to save u from traps the deck with heavy ur traps from box will win if you're not playing vamps blue eyes i mean metas
