Having Gate guardian as the signature card is disrespectful to us the players. Not only is it a rare, but one that can be easily taken from the card trader. They could have given us tons of cards, but no, they give us Gate guardian. One example: shadow ghoul would have been the perfect signature card.
Excuse me? Shadow Ghoul in speed duelling could have reducilous combos. For example the flip effect monster that discards monster cards to your graveyard. You can basically combine him with any discard cards and we have a few of them.
Unless you have more than 4 monster cards in your graveyard that card is ass. Takes far too long for that card to scale and it requires a tribute. Even if you do power it up by discarding monsters it isn't that wise because at this point there are a number of solutions ranging from spot removal, position changing, and atk reduction that will simply destroy it (dropping a basket full of eggs)
