I was laughing so hard at that. They added these "secret" floors for "extra" gems, but the final reward of this overall event is just 5 gems creating the illusion we are getting tons of gems. Pretty sure before the "secret" floors, the final reward was much higher. At this point, this shouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, I'm very sure they just rearrange the distribution of the reward, the total doesn't actually change at all, hence just 5 gems at the end.
