Only decks that require box resets to be built get hated it seems.
Amazoness is more 🔥ous than Sylvan.
In fact, Sylvan is easily beatable by many decks. Amazoness can only be regularly beaten by decks that rely only on backrow and flip (like burn/mill).
Amazoness is more beatable than Sylvan because Amazoness doesn't destroy your entire board.
Heck, Amazoness Onslaught is actually kinda risky because it only triggers after battle, meaning the Amazoness player has to take damage first, if he/she controls something else besides Swordswoman/Fighter. I once won against an Amazoness deck because the damage was enough to reduce my opponent's LP to 0.
And if Amazoness swarms the board and risking an attack without destroying opponent's backrow (they rarely able to get rid of opponent's backrow), they risk getting slapped in the face with WoD.
Sylvan on the other hand, destroys everything you have during Main Phase, be it monsters or backrow, without any chance to fight back. Can't activate things like Floodgate and WoD against Komushroomo nuke, and activating Econ during your opponent's Main Phase is useless.
Sorry but no. You can take care or Amazoness decks with Cosmic Cyclone. Sylvans don't allow you to do 🔥. Don't justify your absolute lack of skill with another OP deck.
If you don't get lucky on excavates against a strong backrow deck with Sylvan, you are toast.
Amazoness - even if your monsters' ATT is 0, they can still attack and banish your monster without getting destroyed themselves. And you can draw any backrow card you want at will with Princess.
WoD 🔥s over Amazoness so hard that I have been able to beat them like a hundred times with good ol' REZ. Not to mention Cosmic Cyclone and Chaos Hunter.
Sylvans is ALL luck-based. The problem is, the luck is usually on their side and you have to cross your fingers. It's like a roulette. The game should not be played that way. It eliminates any bit of skill required to win.
Amazons depend on one OP card. Get rid of that, and the entire deck crumbles 9/10 times. If you can't, you're screwed.
Even though the meta seems to down play Geargia (possibly because it’s expesive to put together a proper build), it’s a guaranteed win against amazoness, at least when I’ve used it. G Attacker cucks onslaught as well as the rest of their back row. G Anchor rekts amazoness monsters particular the one that can’t be destroyed by battle. And for the cherry on top, Pulse Mines ruins amazoness’s day.
You have to be a bit careful about wod. If you WoD amazoness swords woman, it can bite you in the ass. 2cc's will almost always win, but I havent found too many other matchups where cc is helpful (ssa, but I haven't seen that lately). Chaos hunter <<< Cosmic Cyclone as a Amazon answer. Idk man.
