I couldnt play the game last night, it just charged and then the music stopped and the screen was dead, but after a few hours I could get into GX world, I read that was the problem, then I changed to first world and everything is good
I only had two incidents. When one of the Bonz scenes was about to start, the screen just stayed in that in-between phase while the music played and I had to close the app and open it again. And then later, for some reason, the game wouldn't let me change my character from Yami Marik and I had to open and close the app again. But aside from that, I haven't had any problems.
I been getting this on the Steam version a LOT and it renders the game almost unplayable
Its not a network issue, other apps perform fine. It is the app itself that is laggy, with the UI taking like 4 seconds to perform some tasks. Its really annoying
Same here, micro freezes every like 2 seconds, takes the click away from where it's supposed to be even in duel world duels.
So annoying hope they will fix it.
Yeah sometimes I missuse cards because 1 was selected and as clicking on another for the options it play the first...
Every match ~30s - 2mins+ wasted due the freezes... -.-
And it's strange, that just steam updated it instead of ingame(like it normally do for me in steam version).
The Steam will get a little skippish for me lately, but it seems to be more of an issue if I try to go fast during duels by clicking too much to speed through the character dialogue. It isn't a huge issue, though. It might be an update thing, idk. I had the same issue during the tag duel event. Once, Zane's deck became a blur for a moment because I was rushing the duel and it almost froze.
Whatever this is, I hope it is gone soon. Someone said that less people play on the Steam now and if that has something to do with it, that is bad. For me, using Steam stopped all of the disconnects and I want things to stay easy.
So the explanation is this: that lag, pop ups, mysterious disconnects and the AI becoming du mber each day is totally on purpose.
There's this concept (which name I forgot) of involvement of the end user, basically represents how much interaction is present in the app. And how is that relevant? Investors always look at those levels (among many other things) before investing (duh) in an app....
...It is not exactly the thing they look more on an app but it's up there in the list. So all that is konami cheesing this involvement by making you click more than you should and increasing waiting times
