Ehhh... That’s still not good. You need to have dreadscythe in your hand when Eatos is blown up, so you have a lot of brick potential compared to something like Yubel that can summon from the hand or deck
Same thing was said about many other archetypes. "Red-eyes won't be good", "samurais won't be good", "neos fusion won't be good" and there you go, all of them became meta.
