I am completely new to the game without much in the way of yugioh knowledge. What group of packs should I be buying? I don’t know anything about deckmaking, just not sure where to start with packs.
Please dont listen to these filthy trolls. Land of Titans is the worst box that have been released yet. If you want some decent card without spending much, it's safe to buy Servant of Kings to get Wall of Disruption, Draining Shield, Man-Eater Bug, etc. And for a decent F2P deck, i'd suggest you to make Gladiator Beast deck (from Galactic Origin box), or Hazy Flame (Blade of Spirit box)
best box i galactic origins after clearing that clear servants of kings twice and buy generation next till you get 3 half-counters also lv up mai to 25 and odion to 21 use mokuba and sr tickets for 3 enemy controllers and you got the following deck
oh i also forgot to reccomend balance as skill its easy to get now that you can get skill through pvp just play on yugi or kaiba and you will get it eventually use more monsters until you get the required spells/traps and balance metalmoph cosmic cyclone and rush recklessly are decent replacements until you get all the spells/traps
