Wow! I've tried Amazons, U.A.s, Furries, Vampires, Cyberstein, Aquaactress', Spellbooks, and even anti-trap decks. I can string a couple wins together and then I brick 5 in a row at least. No matter what deck. Seems like everyone of my opponents get their best starting hand and I draw doo-doo. So frustrating! Any advice? Which decks are the top players running? What decks are you winning with? How consistent are they?
Ikr. I reached 2nd stage using furries. Once there, I suffered many losses. Usually it was to Amazon, U.A. or Anti-Meta decks. I switched to Amazon and was getting beat by furries. Tried U.A. next. Same result. Furries and Amazons and some SSA decks then consistently beat me. I can't figure out how to get one these meta decks structured to brick the least.
don't know which they use, i would like to know as well, but i can give you my own information:
i did the event and got about 13500 points. but i had a very tough time as well. i don't know which deck has the highest odds against the range of decks you mentioned, but i played with an anki deck with last gamble skill. it took me about 250 duels and had a winrate of about 52%.
but since i played so much, it still means i'm a long term winner, and against all those maxed people i gladly take it :)
i can also say that i had a good winrate against amazoness and fur hire, and had bad winrate against vampire, U.A. and spellbook.
i also like to mention that even the worlds best players probably won't have much more then a winrate of 60%. considering that i could play 250
duels, it means at least 400 are possible (played a lot, but not every moment on entire day) so assume the best player did play about 400, it means to get 120k, he needs to win 260 of them, which is a winrate of 65%, since the nr 2 had about 80k, this means if he played about 400, he needs to win 240 of em, which is 60%. since there was only 1 player with such a winrate and several close to the
80k, it means the nr1 most likely has either cheats or just a lot of luck (second option most likely). which is making me say that the worlds very best probably don't even have much more then 60% winrate.
hope this helps.
edit: i like to add on this story that the point i'm trying to prove here is that swings of 5 losses or winnings are just normal, even a good winrate which is just slightly over half means you still gonna face a lot of luck, the closer to the 50% you are, the bigger upswings and downswing yiou will face, i have had these swings as well, my worst being a downswing of 7 losses! but it's fully normal
