He needs to have more cards in his deck than you (+1 seems to be enough, from experience), you need decent LP, and you need a full back row.

The CPU needs to think that you'll lose by drawing out the following turn irrespective of whether it attacks or not.

On a side note, watch out if you play Vassal and he hasn't tribute summoned both dragons. He has EConned my Vassal as a tribute before.

It happened to me once, and i realized, when you summon your Vassal, you should have 2-3 facedown spell/trap (field spell isn't included).

You only really need 1 set spell/trap to stop that last-turn attack. I use such a method all the time for farming. Your remaining LP also don't matter, as I've pulled off this trick with an Elements Unite! deck that has 500 LP by default. You just need 1 set spell/trap, 1 card left in your deck, and 1+ cards left in the opponent's deck and they won't attack you.

Guys, what about using another Dimension Gate to activate on Vassal so that if Kaiba attacks Vassal, you just activate Dimension Gate to protect him. After that, in the last turn, activate storm to destroy the two "Dimension Gate" and restore Vassal and Labyrinth Wall!

Bro, you forgot about "Mystical Beast of Serket"! You cannot summon 2 monsters in one turn, but maybe you can if you use " Double Summon"
