Many of the private tourny's I've seen have weevil coming out on top.

Relinquished is too dependent on speed wins and hoping the opponent get a bad deal. With all the monster removal cards out there I'm not surprised that I haven't seen him much lately.

I have to disagree. Relinquished is totally broken. There are only 3 counters for it, all of them come at a high cost, putting you in a disadvantage against all other decks. Keep in mind that with Restart skill Relinquished will come out within the first 2 turns
1. Skull lair. Very unlikely to have it in staring hand, even if you do you won't have any monsters in the grave, turn 1 to activate.

2. Order to charge. Good luck having it in your starting hand. Even if you do, it is costly to activate and the opponent is most likely to use the transporter.
3. Eliminating the league, same as above.
4. Possessed dark soul. You need to have 3 of them if you want to even have a chance to draw it first turn. Other than that it's a very situational card and not much useful against other decks.

As for Econs and kuribohs, that are the most versatile cards, they do nothing against Relinquished. The only deck that has potential to stand a chance against it is maybe gravekeepers with 3 soul exchanges and maybe some magic jammers/drains.

How about the Harpies Hunting Ground with Storm-Wild Tornado Combo? Which is the most popular meta deck out there. That deck has literally everything to utterly destroy Relinquished. As said above, every deck has a counter

You guys even look at his entire comment? He's saying the meta is broken from relinquished AND HHG! And you seriously cannot deny that HHG & Relinquished decks make up 70% or so of the top decks! Even player and game stats support this

I was just replying to Anto. But yes, once you reach high plat you face either Hellinquished or HHG. Gravekeepers too but that's rarer...

This is so stupid. You don't even know how to do basic math. Each pack has a limited amount of cards. And you can get the entire box paying less than 200 bucks. There's also sales and promo which makes it easier to obtain the entire box with a cheaper price. If you didn't know you can get packs with gems you obtain leveling up your characters and doing missions.

And also, your deck sucks.

What? The God cards suck on this game. Ra has always sucked, Slifer may be good but requires you to keep a sizable hand in order to maintain a nice attack score and still dies to every removal in the game. Obelisk is the best of the bunch and still dies to Order to Charge. They may be good with Obedience Schooled but more than likely we will only get 1 of each.

I didn't know that they we're weak. Sorry, I'm fairly new to this game. All I know is in the anime, the Egyptian God Cards are strongest monsters in duel monsters.

Actually, all strong monsters can be beaten if you got the right card.

Actually, neither Obelisk and Slifer can be killed by OTC since they "cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps, or card effects"

LOL Obelisk is the best? 🔥 that 🔥. Slifer is the definite best hands down. I remember how I used to rekt people in YGOPRO with Slifer + Black Garden combo. The opponent summon anything, halve it's attack, and boom, Slifer destroy it automatically. Good 🔥.

No one cares if you beat randoms on YGOPro. You're not going to beat any decent player these days with Black Garden, let alone Slifer. At least Obelisk was used in competitive play back during Frog Monarchs' reign.

We also haven't been given the rules for the tournament yet. For all we know they may bring forward a ban/limit list for both cards and skills. If not though there are always ways to beat these decks although they are annoying.

dude not everybody's going to spend 600 bucks to get three of each card that they need, myself i have only spent 2 bucks but that was because i wanted to get the guaranteed sr but aside from that i'm not wasting 600 bucks on a game that's going to die out in a year or two.
