It's not about SR reward, veterans see this event as a gems source, you noobs with majority lvl. 1 characters won't understand how difficult to get gems until you have all characters hit max. Lvl.
AT first it seems like you have tons of it because the trader cards are awful. Then you find that getting 50, 000 More just to 0 out after buying ONE card took you 2 days. And the trader changed cards....
I ain’t no f**king noob! I’ve been playing yugioh since forbidden memories on the ps1 my characters aren’t lv 1 either, they’re All lv 27-28. That’s right, I use every single character who have totally different decks. And that is between a full time job
That's why I said you won't understand how veterans feel about free gems since all of your characters aren't hit max lvl yet. I personally have all maxed and doesn't have any gems resource income anymore. After GX release, gems drop from LD is hella difficult and low so event like this is always welcome.

I agree. Don't play the event, don't get the card and rewards. Or better off, convert the card and delete the app. Then cry later over regretting why didn't get a certain card when it was free and available
Maxing out one character makes you 2290 gems. There use to be some missions that give gems too (I think). You had those duel training school to earn gems.
But after that...it's an uphill battle. You're just waiting for gem drop or skill conversions.
I don't understand the hatred everytime they do a dual a thon. you do exactly the same thing you do on every other day and you get a bunch of bonus free stuff. ummm free stuff for doing nothing, it's not rocket science, I like it
It's so repetitive though... this game is turning out to be just a huge grind and an astronomical money maker..theres hardly any thought that goes into the events..they are disgracing the Yu-Gi-Oh Manga and Anime in my opinion.
