The only expensive cards are canadias and you can get some with tickets, I didn't use drowning mirrorforce too much, so I guess you can change that one for another not-very-expensive trap such as widesread ruin or WoD.
Sure thing this deck doesn't need any backrow cleaner, it relies in Armades, Bergamont and if there is anything bigger than that it just steals the monster with econ. Also the 1st monster in the extra deck can be freaking huge... like above 6000 atk
I've seen quite some very cool build with Aromages at Duel Links Meta as well, I don't think the OP is lying. I mean, people submit decks with weird cards in their extra slots even if their decks don't have any tuner/fusion monsters in them. Plenty of people do it. And btw, it's VERY LATE in the season, it's completely possible to do it.
In the last meta weekly, there were like 2 guys playing AROWAIFU, and they reached 3rd and 4th place in the tournament if I'm not wrong. Damn, with a little perseverance this deck CLAPS
Not a bad build at all. However, I wish there would be better cards in the Secret of the Ancient box or that they get more usage in the future. Maybe Im just a n00b but to me Junk Synchron is pretty much the only thing I know how to play from SoA lol :d
