Duel links desperately needs something to spice things up, lots of things I can think of.... Stratos, BRD, CyDra, Twin Dragon, boxes have been trash lately.
Konami hasn't been getting my gems either, none of the boxes interest me. I also want Cyber Dragon and Cyber Twin Dragon in game but I doubt we will be getting it any time soon
Think about balance too, remember if you can use Cyber Dragon, everyone can too, is it going to be fun if whoever gets 2nd are always able to summon 2 monsters in one turn, one being a 2100 ATK monster that will get over almost anything you have in your first turn?
You are half right there. Not everyone is going to use Cyber Dragon unless the deck revolves around it, there's no place for it in top tier decks.
You are dead wrong on your 2nd statement though. CyDra by itself is no threat, a 2100 vanilla beater without protection or spot removal so it's nothing to worry about.
Get over almost anything? Come on dude lol... Reactor Dragon, Anki, Maximus..
You'll definitely not bring out Anki Turn 1, but you'd probably set Mask Change so if the player who goes 2nd summons Cyber Dragon and something else, you can always Mask Change into Anki and CyDra won't be able to swing over it. That's what I mean
Cyber Dragon definitely isn't really a threat compared to some of the cards released like Anki, Reactor Dragon, etc. However if someone has a Cyber Dragon, Polymerization and a fusion substitute monster like The Light-Hex Sealed Fusion then someone could summon Cyber Twin first turn. The same could be said for Cyber End Dragon as well, if you have a Proto Cyber Dragon, plus the above cards.
You can't Poly into Twin or End Dragon with fusion substitutes, they must be treated as Cyber Dragon. However, you can summon The Light Hex and go into a Twin Dragon if you have a CyDra on the field in that case, it's not a fusion summon.
TBH, neither is good in paper nor in actual gameplay, it's a 2-3 card combo for twin Dragon and a 3-4 card combo for End Dragon, UAGG is better
That's what I meant regarding Twin Dragon, I thought the same concept could be applied to End Dragon as well, but after reading your statement, you are correct.
All good. all in all, I don't see why Konami thinks these combos are OP by any means so I don't know why CyDra and Twin Dragon aren't in the game yet...
