Yesterday they had amazoness banish control in tier 1. Now it is 3. What happened? What causes spellbook to keep switching between 1 and 2? And why isn't koaki higher? I kept seeing people on here and other yugioh sites talk about it like it is some ultimate thing. Between that and the quick KOG decks, I thought it would be higher. Is it because it is still new that they decided not to rate it tier 1 or 2 yet, or is it just hype? I haven't dueled it yet, so I am curious.

New Koaki deck is Tier 1 for sure. otk Turn 2 (if they go second). 3 monsters on the field, it’s like furries before the nerfs.

stop comparing koaki with furries. fh was really OP with many deals and plays. koaki is only a single OTK combo and cant recover from a bad hand

Yeah, no comparison whatsoever. Fur Hires have the 2018 level of power creep. The deck has (use to have) an answer to almost anything and had an incredible recovering and recycling power which pretty much lacks in Koa'k Mairu.

And what is insane is that in TCG Fur Hires lose to almost anything that has an answer to their first summon (ash blossom, effect veiler, infinite impermanence...). They are far from being meta in TCG so just imagine what Thunder Dragons or Altergeist would do to duel links hahaha

I would like to see sky striker gaining a +6, blowing your entire field, and negating whatever the 🔥 you summon in duel links just to see the players reaction lol.

I did finally meet koaki last night. It is really good. But not quite the same as full power fur hire, especially with less hey trunade now.

It was the same with amazoness. Also not very good in the tcg. It seemed like Konami just based it off of that without even really testing those in duel links first. I didn't really mind them except for whenever I died because you could pack as much hey trunade and TTH as you wanted into a deck. That was really only what made it frustrating to me. But I don't think a lot of others were thrilled.

Sky Strikers will never come to duel links because they're a Link based archetype and Duel Links despite the name will never reach link summon. I play sky Strikers on Yugioh pro and Tdoane and they're very fun.

Thunder Dragon and Altergeist on the other hand could come to Duel Links, especially Thunder Dragon but I'm pretty sure Konami won't commit the same mistake again and that is to introduce a 2018 archetype in game that is still in the synchro era.

Well, I just mention sky striker just because of how broken they are. Well, some of their support like jamming wave and shark cannon has some chance to come to DL individually. Releasing them full power is asking for trouble though.

Duel Links will reach Link Summon eventually, we already have the voicelines for it.

Link summoning in a game which has only 3 monster zones XD that is something I really look forward to see.

It's impossible to release Sky S. The extra monster zone has to be implemented first, otherwise you just can't use the majority of the spells, especially widow anchor. Speed duel can eventually reach Link Summoning but Duel Links? You're to optimistic if you think this game is going to last 3 more years..

Most of the Spells would function just fine, and still be incredibly powerful here. I don't see them doing it, however. Most of them are probably TOO good right now, especially in combination. Sure, I could see JUST Jamming Waves or JUST Shark Cannon maybe be fine, but they wouldn't just release one Sky Striker spell.

You don't have to look forward to see Link Summon in a 3 zone environment. Yugioh Vrains anime already has it for almost a year lmao.

The era the archetype was released is irrelevant.

What is probably currently the best deck in format is a 5D's era archetype (with a single Zexal-era card). The rest of the top is mostly a mix of Zexal, Arc-V and Vrains-era stuff, but once you get to the other stuff capable of getting to KOG, you've got stuff from pretty much every era bar DM.
