Even with all the decent Rank 4 Xyz monsters, it is still really underwhelming. If Dojo and/or Enishi are no longer limited though, it might become decent again.

it's playable, used to be meta in duel link and tcg. Some guy got to top KC in Japanese with it.

Well, the last KC round two last month, there was 1 guy using Six Sam on the top 100 of Japan. There was a reddit thread with the winners chart.

Six sam are waaay better than the actual meta, except Despacito and XYZ Card Lords.

If Konami unlimit Dojo and Enishi, they can return to T3. Basically Shi En keep them alive.
