What drugs are you on? Trishula banishes a card from the hand, field and Graveyard. Even tho it does require an additional monster, it's still 100% generic and has a far more powerful effect than Vermillion- hence why it spent years on the TCG banlist and is still limited to this day.
Vermillion Dragon may be a bit easier for some decks to make, such as Blue-Eyes. But in just about every deck that can reliably make level 9 synchros Trish is by far the better card.
