Yeah thats the thing... it seems like i need to get every UR 3 times To build a good Deck, which is not possible...

No if you're low on gems. By the time you're able get through half of the box, a month would had passed and the next box will be added soon after. That's the only issue with F2p is lack of gems vs somebody who p2w

I'm thinking about giving up on this game man. my vendread deck won't probably keep up with the current meta anymore especially with this new box, and don't even get me started on the fact that you can get 3 necrovalley now. looks like konami hate F2P players now.

It's not just konami. Any mobile game with a stamina base system & in app purchases are usually a P2W situations. But konami been like that for years.

As F2P you should only invest into minibox. Main box are too heavy, too many cards, we have insufficient gems income, and above all we can't convert 3 UR into any UR (aka "crafting card").
Or you can buy EX deck that are always quite powerfull for 11 bucks

If Konami had already the 🔥ing decency of creating a Card Crafter, we wouldn't have to go through a Box 3 times in order to build a decent deck. Make the cost of making an UR a thousand Gems, I don't care, but at least you get what you want. But no, they need the money to build their beloved pachinko casinos.

Ik... so i Really like the Nordic Archetype (i know its Not strong but I like it anyway) and Thats where all My Gems went.
Yes its definitely More efficient to buy miniboxes as F2P, but I just Play it for fun so it doesn‘t matter to me xD

Konami isn't known to listen to their players or some fan base. I'd say 500 gems. I can imagine how much people pay just to have 3 copies of a UR card & reach KOG. Konami doesn't care unless you dish out your retirement funds

For new player, maybe. For veteran F2P player, nope. You cannot have multiple top tier deck using free gems. You should either hold one KOG worthy deck and forget another deck, or forget KOG and collect cards from every box for fun only (without resetting the box since "fun" deck doesn't require 3 copies of UR)

IMO KOG isn't that big archievement. As a player who already got more than 10 times KOG, I would feel ashamed to have KOG record icon of 5 seasons in a row but failed to get Top 100 KC Cup. I woukd prefer stay in Legend using noob username and profile icon so people would not know I already got 10 times KOG

As a dedicated F2P you can build a KOG deck every 2-3 month so you will usually skip 2-3 boxes and then wait for awhile for a new deck to be on the tier list before purchase, if you decided to do so you can't really build many fun decks from outside the desired boxes.

Not being able to enjoy every box and the need to wait just to make sure a deck is top tier are sacrifices you make if you decide to continue as F2P.

True. But very few F2P player could realize their own limit. Most of them simply blame Konami by calling them greedy, while the real greedy is the one who wants to get everything by spending nothing
