Yep in real life the card have value, even if they no longer relevant you can still collect them. Meanwhile duel links is not forever, you never know when the game dies and you loss all your investment in this game. Like right now when they just spamming packs and the f2p community feel exhausted after being power creeped pack after pack and not being able to keep up.
