People said the same when synchros came out then with xyz, post after post of how these summoning methods were never gonna shine because of backrow. Nothing happened at the end and we got meta synchro and xyz decks.
No, backrow is not ruining a whole mechanic. No, konami won't nerf backrow (even tho I'd love it if they did that but for a different reason)
And how is that relevant to the point of this discussion: backrow supposedly ruining a net mechanic?
Anyways I'll jump into this bandwagon of yours for fun: Invoked was meta only because darklord was nerfed that at the same time was meta only bcz six sam was nerfed that was only meta because koaki got nerfed, etc, etc.
^^there were synchro meta decks before invoked like six samurai that btw made it to tier 0 unlike invoked that for some reason you seem to have it on a pedestal
