You destroy the komushroom assuming its facedown and if your opponet plays any more those get desroyed as well so yes.

Komushroomo is not a Flip Effect monster.

Komushroomo isn't a flip effect monster, so it would only 🔥 the one. Though it would work on Magical Merchant.

actually it is a flip effect monster so this card wrecks the sylvan deck pretty badly.

This card effect to remove monsters from deck only works for flip monsters (magical merchant, hane-hane, man-eater bug etc)
These monsters have "FLIP : **effects**" in their description.

Unlike Komushroomo & geargianchor, these 2 is not treated as "FLIP" monster. It is an effect monster that effect is triggered when it is flipped face-up.

Blade knight & Harpie Lady 2 also can't negate them.
