since fh was nerfed, i move to another f2p deck, but i think you could test ur deck in ranking too... many decks in dv 17-20 are the same than ranking: bewd, masked, vampire and spellbook. You could see another decks like amazoness and gemini (they are only the 5% of the total of decks that i saw in this kc) and they use UR backrow cards how u said...

every deck with expensive traps can hit dlv max no jokes.
try to use post nerf amazononess aka banish control deck, it's Better than post-nerf furhire

literally i have pushed to legend 1 and dv 18 with fur hire and my deck isn't super expensive so go for it. Warning u have to make good plays against BEWD players cuz i can be difficult

Even without expensive traps it is still as strong as any deck
