It's a glitch. I'm stuck on this too, no matter who or where I duel, the game doesn't count ANY ritual summons. It says special summons instead, and I'm using the appropriate ritual cards too.

Do 2 fusion summons instead, trust me

Play in gate with joey, and wait your chance, to sumon ritual

im at the same stage, i performed tribute/special/ritual/fusion/synchro and nothing worked, idk how to go trough this
