Hey guys its Milan i reached kog using dm. I sent screenshot proof that i reached kog this month so no picture wasnt reused. Yes meta is tough , but dm is a rly fun and competitive deck and with enough skill and experience you can reach kog in few hours. Also dont give up , but also do not play too much :) good luck and have fun
DM actually use skill? When all u guys do is basically just the same thing, summon magician rod, then 3 backrows, which are circle, navigation, and another one. U can even ask 5 year old to play DM and win.
Can you list me some "skill" meta tier decks? Seriously. Elemental sabers? Just throw tons of traps and loop invoker. BW just use black whirlwind and massive synchro summon. Cydras just laugh. Lunalights just stall and w8 for OTK. All tier decks just use 1 loop. Thats all.
some decks need rather steep learning curve than the other, indeed. But after 2-3 practice games, all of them just stale combo. Its a card game after all. Do not expect high skill *variety* involved in every single step like chess.
Well when you open with a hand that doesnt have that combo that you always need you need to be creative. Bluffing, tricking your oponnent into having a navigation when u have raigeki, using dark illusion and raigeki to banish and destroy etc. not every duel started by going first and openning with a good hand.
Other decks need to understand the game in the order to run it, while DM and some decks just need to understand their own deck, which makes them crazy OP.
All duelists should understand how each deck works. However, this has 0 effect on how their deck actually work. None thinks "what should i do vs the a, b, c, etc deck." All the concept behind tier decks is "how i will use my combo cards as fast as i can, regardless my oppennent's play, deck etc and end the duel".
guys i can understand what you are saying t=but thats kinda more a sylvan, fur hire vibe i dont know.Like,i had to understand how other decks work in order to use dm.Because lets be honest,in order to fully use the potential of your deck you need to understand how other decks are capable of.So i wasnt a brainless f2p just trying to get the combo,i was trying to exploit the weakness of meta
The main reason why we F2P players can't "truly understand optimised decks" is gems/money. Just like you said, you don't know how to play "correctly" against a deck if you never played it yourself. But we cannot play with other optimized decks because it costs gems/money to do just that. In the end only P2W like you can LEARN how to properly counter others because you used it yourself before
No, Its because you havent face them enough, not because you are f2p. I use vendread and 100% sure what DM, crystron, or even the newly released archtype (which i dont have) when do a combo. If you face them too often you will memorize it. F2p isn't an issue to learn how the meta play. You will learn HOW to counter it especially when you face them, not when you using them. Stop that f2p thing
