Konami change your Ranked System! it's by far the worst i've ever seen in a game.
First of all the demote thing from plat to gold, gold to silver, silver to bronze shouldn't exist, once you hit plat you should stay there in rank 1 if you lose. Really frustrating hitting plat then losing to RNG, luck... and boom demoted -.-
2nd, the stupid thing that you need consecutive wins to climb...so if you hit plat 3, then you win 4, lose 1, W4, L1, W4, L1 and you never hit KoG -.- makes no sense.
3rd, the rewards! omg what a joke... same rewards for ppl in bronze and plat, really? and lower ranks giving more gems between ranks... (Not talking about this qualifiers of course, rewards makes more sense now)
The KC Cup ranked system was by far better, not perfect, just ok but less frustrating. Look at ranked systems in games like Duelyst for example, or even HS, the current one is terrible.
Yeah this is stupid, winning consecutive games at plat3 and then i face Paradox with the broken ability we all know, and for the first time ever i didn't draw a single monster with my 11 monster card deck......... And he plays DM in his first turn of course with vigilance... Now i need to start my winning streak again just to lose again to RNG... gg Konami! "FUN" ranked "SKILLFUL" matches!
I'd be up for a never rank down system too. So 🔥 when u go on a streak of 3 or so bad deals after winning 3 15 minute long sweaty platinum duels. Best is lose and u rank down then getting dealt 3 ritual spells and mirror wall and going first.
LoL system isn't the same, you don't need consecutive wins, there's a promotion were you need to win 3 out of 5 games and there's also a hidden MMR you don't get demoted right away after losing a couple of games.
HS uses "stars", you also don't need consecutive wins, and at certain ranks you can't be demoted 5,10,15...
Actually I'm diamond on League and "hidden" me isn't real lol you demote after you've played 5 games in that division the yugioh ranking system is fair every time I've played ranked for a season I've hit kog you're just too busy complaining and whining to get good
Are you serious!! In my opinion the ranked system is fine and the demote thing is actually a good and competitive thing to have.... If you really think this easy ranking system is hard to climb then try hearthstone and see what hard climbing is...
Actually LoL system is much better, you get demoted after 5 games not 2-3 but what i hate the most here is the consecutive wins to climb, specially to hit KoG, just think about it, both players at plat 3:
Player A: 3W, 1L, 4W, 1L, 4W, 1L, 3W, 1L.
Player B: 2L, 1W, 2L, 2W, 2L, 1W, 2L, 5W.
Player A total: 14W, 4L.
Player B total: 9W, 8L.
Player A still at plat 3, Player B KoG, fair? lol.
Your math makes no sense. Once you lose a match, your streak is done and you can't move on unless you win 2-4 matches in a row. There's no way that player B could have gotten to KoG.
