I am not sure I agree with Yami Joey. Joey was being controlled by Marik. It was not really a Yami form.
I hope in the distant future, when we get Zexal, that Tombo Tillbitty is skipped. He annoys me because he keeps making references to vegetables and wants duelist to eat a vegetabke before they are allowed to declare a monster attack. He also claims that a tomatoe is his favorite vegetable.
Trouble is,does not really use vegetables. He has cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, a cross between a tomatoe and an eggplant. All of this are "veggies" he has with him or monster cards he uses but none are vegetables. A tomatoe is a fruit, an eggplant is a fruit, a hybrid of the two woukd be a fruit, cucumbers are a fruit, bell peppers or really any oepper is a fruit. If there are seeds inside it and it is a type of flowering from the plant than it is a fruit.
Some of you may not think it is a big deal. This is because it ks commonplace to mix up the difference in fruits commonly grown among vegetables in a garden and actual vegetables so yiu don't hear a problem. I am fully aware of the difference and am annoyed because his whole concept is vegetables but I cannot even recall seeing a veggetable, only Yuma asking him to summon broccoli to summon something origional. Broccoli is a vegetable and thus that is a reference to a vegtable but the conceot of building a fruit deck and calling it a vegetable and supposedly being a farmer and a veggie expert really just ahows how stupid the duelist is and it makes taking him seriously a joke. He is someone I hope we never have added.
My discussion is more or less valid than anyone elses here. I was logical and had a good point. The entire episode was quite annoying. If you are going to try and 🔥 me, make sense at least. If I am such a nerd then why was I complaining about the content of the episode. You shohld try looking up otaku. Furthermore there are people who know way more about this series than I do.
The point I ws making is that while seeing the episode I felt that if Duel Links did skip a duelist and not ever release one, I woukd prefer him. People discuss addition of duelist all the time and why so and so is not likely or why they don't want them. I don't see why me contributing to conversations is such a sore subject.
There are two ways of classifying food- by scientific classification, and by taste (in the culinary field).
In terms of taste, all of those are vegetables. If you want to apply a scientific classification to every fruit and vegetable, you'd be left with very little sense.
An avocado is technically a fruit, in scientific terms. As are all of the things you mentioned.
We group these things together because they *work* together, not because of their origins. It is based on taste. You would not put a tomato in a fruit salad. Nor would you mix apples in with your onions and tomatoes when making pasta sauce.
This idea we have, that there is only one way to classify crops- the scientific way- is absurd, and historically inaccurate.
Now, as for him being a farmer- that's a fair point. A farmer would probably know the difference- technically.
Maybe he got tired of explaining how all of his cards follow scientific rules every time he dueled them. Maybe the writers didn't feel like explaining that common vegetable taxonomy is completely incorrect to common children.
