I hate decks that draw 10 cards per turn. It's really broken in a 20 card game. I dunno why they release so many "discard/release this and draw 2 cards" on this format. Fortune Lady Watery is the biggest offender, simply draw 2 cards without any single cost.
There's no cost, but there is a heavy requirement. Fortune Lady Water needs to be Special Summoned while you control a "Fortune Lady" monster other than Fortune Lady Water. Plus, the draw is not optional, meaning if you activate the draw effect but can't draw exactly 2 cards, you lose the duel.
If you really want to see something that should be made Forbidden, look at Cup of Ace.
^ what this guy said and also adding: The draw power of FL watery is the selling point of Fortune ladies, their strength and the sole (game wise) reason to use them, without that they are just a mediocre syncro engine
What “heavy requirement”, it’s just me summon one Lighty or Pasty, me activate Calling, me draw 2 cards. It’s broken af and if losing that makes them drop to broken to mediocre they should. Cup of Ace is equally as degenerate, both it and Watery deserve the forbidden list.
Yes. Just because they released new decks doesn’t make Watery deck (as without it it’d be 🔥, doesn’t deserve being called FL deck as it’s all about Watery) any less near-invincible.
Do you think those who play them will stop playing them because muh tiered? It’s the same game, same broken deck, it works so they’ll keep playing it as long as Watery exists.
Even if the entire world loves and worships Watery broken drawing mass cards per turn and I'm the only one who sees how 🔥ed up that is, it's still broken.
