GX's announcement was only slightly more blatant. (They didn't mention GX by name there, either. Just a new world. Which, given it was the first, was still somewhat vague.) It's probably 5D's, but there's a chance it's something else.

The game minor version is 9. Chances are it's about to push forward into the next major version (3) and introduce a new world like they did before.
